1. What are the good / strong parts of your project? What is done well? Why?
The good/strong parts of my project would be the texture on one of my vessels. I also thing I did a good job on creating a lid for one by spinning it on the wheel because I took the time to add more detail into it.
2. What do you think you could have done better on this project? Why?
I could have cut the slab a little more precisely, because there are parts on my penguin vessel where I really had to fix where everything was meeting up because some parts were uneven.
3. Describe the attributes of your theme / unity: What is the design like? Why?
The biggest attributes to my theme/unity would be the head for the penguin vessel and the texture for the other. The design for the head is round with a beak coming off because that's how penguins look.
4. Describe the form of your vessel: what kind of 3-D shape does it have (cylindrical, spherical, egg-like, bumpy, smooth)? Why? What do you think you will keep / contain in your vessel?
Cylindrical and spherical would be the shapes of my vessels because that's how my slabs turned out. I will keep cookies in my penguin vessel and could keep water or another drink in the other.
5. What is the primary texture on your vessel? How did you do this? Why did you do it that way?
"Wings" would be the primary texture on one of my vessels. To do this, I just took a needle and made swoops going in one general direction because I wanted my penguin to look like that.
6. Metacognate: What did you learn from this project that you could apply to others? What
lessons could be applied to life in general? Why?
I learned that you need to make sure the clay has the same thickness throughout the entire vessel because if you don't, it will fall apart in some parts. A life lesson could be to don't put all of your eggs in one basket, in a sense. Have things even throughout life.
